On September 17, 2024, at 3:00 PM, the Rivne Regional Museum of Local Lore will host the opening of an exhibition of paintings by Maryna Maslovska titled «The Destruction of the Empire.»

Maryna Maslovska is a young, talented artist from Dnipro, working in the technique of Petrykivka painting. The exhibition will feature works that depict the destruction of Ukrainian intelligentsia by the Soviet regime and beyond. The paintings are dedicated to prominent Ukrainian cultural and political figures, including Vasyl Stus, Mykola Leontovych, Alla Horska, Symon Petliura, Mykola Khvylovy, Levko Lukianenko, Les Kurbas, and others.

The exhibition will also include artifacts from the collections of the Rivne Regional Museum of Local Lore.
